69th Winter Meeting in Almaty around the corner

In just a few days, more than 100 journalists from around 30 nations will meet in Almaty/Kazakhstan on 3 March for their annual winter meeting. This will be the 69th edition of the traditional week-long meeting, which is being held in a Central Asian country for the first time. Our hosts from Kazakhstan have been preparing for the meeting in the winter sports metropolis for about three years now. Due to the coronavirus pandemic the meeting had to be postponed several times.
