The Italian Ski Journalists Association has elected Roberta Serdoz as the first woman president of the historic Italian ski club, GIS. Serdoz, who heads up the Rai’s TgR Lazio editorial staff was unanimously voted earlier this month in Cortina d’Ampezzo. Since 1934, reporters such as Gianni Bianco, Mike Bongiorno, Jas Gawronski, Luciana Castellina, Paolo Mieli, and Alice Luzzatto Fegiz have challenged each other on the slopes of the Alps during national meets among journalists who still today, continue to participate actively in the life of the association, Not even Covid has managed to curb enthusiasm for the club, which despite a two-year hiatus, continues to enjoy new registrations, especially among the young. Serdoz will lead a newly elected board of directors, of which half are women: Luigi Brecciaroli (Radio Arancia Tv), Amalia Carosi (Giornale Radio Rai), Dario Cavaliere (Icarus- Sky Sport ), Roberta Mazzeo (Luiss University Communication), Jacopo Orsini (Il Messaggero), Laura Perna (Anas press office), and Matteo Contessa (Nord Adriatico Magazine)
